Through the ripples under the canopies of palm-- We met ourselves!

Image
Where sunlight filters in golden streaks, making the waters shimmer… Until sandal-gold evenings blush into pink, asking the palm trees for directions towards that lotus-adorned lake   where the vallam drifts with grace across waters so calm with subtle ripples, that mirror the sky. Isn't it like you and me? Distant apart, yet perfect reflections of mind and soul balancing flaws with strengths, softening edges with warmth, complementing what the other lacks, woven so well, that we seem to be one! How the playful river finds its anchor in the poised sky.   The wish to flow free, gathering memories at every bend, painting them into pictures like myriad grains of sand. Pictures of time, I being the minute when you're the second of mine keeping the pace of life.   Passing little islands of emerald paddy fields, the earthy fragrance along the coast greets us as we land.   And through the twilight, beneath a star-embroidered veil , Beholding the stars t...

“Mist and Majesty” ~ When The Truth Rises

Image
These majestic mountains The awe-inspiring mountains — symbols of power, grandeur, and timeless strength.   Never did they show their arrogant conceit Despite their greatness, the mountains never displayed ego or arrogance. They remain grounded (literally and metaphorically). Did you ever hear them roar in pride? Rhetorical question — the mountains don’t boast or make noise about their greatness. Fall to my feet for this is where you are to slide Possibly imagining if they were prideful, they could demand submission — but they never do. Nature doesn't impose. Perhaps they knew they could be obscured Suggests mountains are aware of their vulnerability — even mighty beings can be hidden... The thinnest veil could steal their view, A mist could mute their mighty hue. By something as gentle or insubstantial as a light mist or fog.   Even a simple veil can completely hide the majestic view, reminding us how delicate visibility, perception, and presence can be. A Veil of Mist,...

A Tribute to the Rani On Her Death Anniversary ~ A flame that never really died!

Image
She rode not just a steed, but history’s tide, With fire in her soul and a sword by her side. In armour of courage, draped in grace, She challenged empires — no fear on her face. They came with chains, she broke them all, With fire that rose like a rebel’s call. "Main apni Jhansi nahi doongi!" — she swore, And shook the tyrant to his very core. Not just a queen, but lightning in storm, A mother, a warrior — in radiant form. She may have fallen, sword in hand, But rose again across this land. In every girl with fearless eyes, Rides the spirit that never dies. You made Jhansi more than just a name — You etched it deep in eternal flame. Can not miss mentioning "The Unforgettable, Alive Forever!" Subhadra Kumari Chauhan’s poem is not just literature — it’s a spark that still sets the soul ablaze.

Fly. Because you matter!

Image
Fly, So I have someone with me in the sky! Do not sink down! Rise up and above so high, Grow, this is what I wait by! Knowing that you matter to me might not matter to you right now. But there might come a second of that minute when knowing this would make you feel better.   And then, at that moment, it would matter! Do know, there is always someone, to whom you matter! Someone, who wants you to fly, soaring high up in the sky!

The dew that adorned my garden!

Image
The dew that could fall into an oyster, to turn into an invaluably treasurable pearl, came into the lap of a leaf, glistening, adorning my garden. Yet serenely precious. Rolled into tiny drops, and settled in graceful tranquility. So ethereal that you can't resist touching it but even so pristine that you are not willing to put an end to its existence. How paradoxical. Isn’t it? It's about the dew that adorned my garden!

The Hazy lanes of life...

Image
Dark, Foggy, Smoky strange trails Through the mist, walking past the dusty terrain  Alley of incertitude to the dreams,  Weaved and spun to reach the brilliance  Like that of the sun  Or to touch those dazzling northern lights that burn The winter steams from the mouth were our childhood cigarettes  Liberated a few more needless regrets. Sprinkes of tiny dew drops, settle in peace over the eyeslashes Their presence unrealized  Untill one blinks the eyes  And with that a moment goodbye  That flies off in a snap to beautify The hazy lanes of life! This time I smelled the mist in every single breathe That brims one's soul  With the winter-chills through the eyes  And mellow warmth from its caress This is how deceiving they are, The hazy lanes of life! Look how tasting the clouds feels like The heights you reach and see it is nothing Nothing but all mist around And that something you love to see,  Doesn't really exist or abound. Yet it ...
